The "New Zealand" Australian Film Festival
is set to be an Annual celebration of Australian films in the heart of Auckland and Wellington.
Venues are being finalised, sponsorship arrangements being put in place and the selection of films for the first Australian Film Festival to be held in New Zealand has begun.
Australia's best new films and some cult films from the past are coming to Auckland and Wellington in late May for 10 days and nights of inspiring and entertaining premieres, talks and parties.
Join us and be among the first in New Zealand to see the greatest, strangest and most exciting work that Australian cinema has to offer.
The festival will be relevant to both the general public and the industry, attracting a broad audience demographic and introducing this audience to the latest innovative areas of screen practice used in Australia.
The Australian Film Festival takes place at our flagship venue the ASB Theatre , as well as other cinemas in the CBD, screening more than 100 films you won’t usually find in the multiplex.
